Submissions are now open for the next themed-issue of Scintilla "The Patterns of Place: Seeking Shelter; Finding Home." The focus of the issue is on place with special attention on the refugee and immigrant experience. If your piece does not speak to that specific experience; but to the larger role of place in shaping identity, you may still send us your work. We'd love to read it, and hopefully, publish it. Submissions will remain open until January 13th, 2018.
All manuscripts should be in 12-point type, with one-inch margins, and sequentially numbered pages. For short stories our word limit is 6,500. Please submit only one story per issue, unless asked for more work.
Poetry should be single-spaced and include no more than four poems.
